Bumblebee Orchestra is for students age 7 and 14 years. This is where it all starts. Students must have one year experience before they can join this orchestra. Students in the orchestra have the opportunity to learn more repertoire and learn more about the history of composers. Young string players skills are strengthened when they play in a group. They learn to keep time together, improve on their sight reading, tune together, and about how to play a song musically. Students skills will improve immediately in their first year and there on. They learn so much from watching each other, the extra practice time in the week and from the additional instruction from the conductor.
Bumblebee Orchestra students enhance their knowledge in music, build your confidence and work together as a team in this program.
We are continually growing our Bumblebee Orchestra. Please check out our concerts or book a date to come and try out a rehearsal. We are accepting violin, viola, cello and double bass players.
